History On 24 January 1958, UEPA was founded firstly as Ukrainian Extramural Polytechnic Institute (UEPI). In 1990, UEPI was transformed into the Kharkov Engineering Pedagogics Institute (KEPI). In 1994, the academy received IV accreditation level and the status of Ukrainian Engineering Pedagogics Academy (UEPA). The Scientific Library of the Ukrainian Engineering Pedagogics Academy is a scientific and informational center of the Ukrainian Engineering Pedagogics Academy in Kharkiv, Ukraine. The library houses three reading rooms and collects in fiction, non-fiction, and course books in addition to its specialized areas. History of the Library The building housing the Academy is an example of architectural art from the 18th century.
