Ukraine Women's National Ice Hockey Team
The Ukraine women's national ice hockey team is the women's national ice hockey team of Ukraine. The team is controlled by the Ice Hockey Federation of Ukraine, a member of the International Ice Hockey Federation. They made their World Championship debut in 2019 winning all four games to gain promotion to Division II B. History Ukraine played its first game in 1992 in a qualification game against Latvia for participation in the 1993 Women's European Ice Hockey Championships. The game was held in Riga, Latvia with Ukraine finishing with a 3–0 win. The game was part of a four team qualification series against Italy, Latvia, and the Netherlands but due to the withdrawals of Italy and the Netherlands the series was reduced to three games between Ukraine and Latvia which Ukraine won two games to one. Ukraine Men's National Junior Ice Hockey Team
The Ukrainian men's national junior ice hockey team is the national under-20 ice hockey team in Ukraine. The team represents Ukraine at the International Ice Hockey Federation's World Junior Hockey Championship Division I. History Ukraine made its first appearance at the top level in 1994, less than five years after gaining independence from the Soviet Union. Ukraine went on to upset the United States, and Ukrainian goaltender Igor Karpenko went on to win top goaltender at the 1995 World Junior Ice Hockey Championships. Since, there was no relegation round due to the restructuring of the format, in 2001 Junior Ice Hockey Championship the team were participating at the German performance, like a strong and high level players team, from small country of the east Europe. The 2022 IIHF Women's World Championship Division III was two international ice hockey tournaments organised by the International Ice Hockey Federation. The Division III Group A tournament was played in Sofia, Bulgaria, from 4 to 9 April 2022 and the Division III Group B tournament was played in Belgrade, Serbia, from 22 to 25 March 2022. The 2020 IIHF Women's World Championship Division II was scheduled to be two international ice hockey tournaments organised by the International Ice Hockey Federation, but only one tournament was played. The Division II Group A tournament would have been played in Granada, Spain, from 29 March to 4 April 2020. On 2 March 2020, this tournament was cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. 1995 Women's European Ice Hockey Championships
The 1995 IIHF European Women Championships were held between March 20–31, 1995. Continuing with the format from 1993, the Elite division Pool A, consisted of six teams, while the five teams that competed in 1993 were joined by Russia and Slovakia making their debut appearances, while the Netherlands returned for the first time since 1991.
