Uki Goñi (born 17 October 1953) is an Argentine author. His research focuses on the role of the Vatican, Swiss authorities and the government of Argentina in organizing "ratlines"—escape routes for Nazi criminals and collaborators. Personal life Goñi was born on 17 October 1953 in Washington, D.C., and was raised in the United States, Argentina, Mexico, and Ireland. He has lived in Buenos Aires since 1975. Investigations Drawing on investigations in Argentine, Swiss, American, British, and Belgian government archives, as well as numerous interviews and other sources, Goñi's conclusions are detailed extensively in ''The Real Odessa: Smuggling the Nazis to Perón's Argentina'' and several follow-up books. Uki ( ) is a village situated near Mount Warning in the Tweed Valley of far northern New South Wales, Australia in the Tweed Shire. At the , Uki had a population of 765 people. Its name may have come from an aboriginal word for "small water plant (like a fern) with a yellow flower and edible root". Ugi Island, also Uki Island (or Uki Ni Masi), is an island in Solomon Islands; it is located in Makira-Ulawa Province and lies 11 km north of Makira Island. Geography Ugi Island is a raised coral reef about 10.5 km long and 6.5 km wide. The island has an area of 43.98 km2. The summit elevation is 160 m. The highest hills are up to high. ''Uki'' is a Belgian animated television series. The main character is a small yellow creature who invites his young viewers to discover the world with him. The show has been airing on Belgian and Finnish networks since April 2010. It was first shown on Club RTL and Ketnet. Mohammad Kautsar Hikmat (born October 5, 1981), known professionally as Uki Noah, is an Indonesian guitarist who is best known as the rhythm guitarist of the pop band Noah for 19 years. Early life He was born in Bandung, West Java, into an educated family. The nickname 'Uki' was given to him by his brother. His father, Hikmat Iskandar, has a Master of Science degree and is a researcher and expert in transportation infrastructure. The family moved to Australia in 1989 and stayed for four years.
