United ( sr-cyrl, Уједињени, Ujedinjeni) is a parliamentary group in the National Assembly of Serbia and City Assembly of Belgrade. The parliamentary groups are composed of parties that took part in the United for the Victory of Serbia (UZPS) coalition in the 2022 Serbian general election. In the National Assembly, the parliamentary group is headed by Marinika Tepić, while in the City Assembly of Belgrade, it is headed by Mila Popović. History Formation The United for the Victory of Serbia (UZPS) coalition, which included the Party of Freedom and Justice (SSP), Movement of Free Citizens (PSG), Movement for Reversal (PZP), United Trade Unions of Serbia "Sloga" (USS Sloga), and the Fatherland movement, took part in the 2022 general election. Marinika Tepić
Marinika Tepić (; sr-Cyrl, Мариника Тепић, ; born 8 August 1974) is a Serbian politician. She is a vice-president of the Party of Freedom and Justice (''Stranka slobode i pravde'', SSP) and a prominent figure in the opposition to Serbian president Aleksandar Vučić. Tepić was Secretary for Sports and Youth in the Government of Vojvodina from 2012 to 2016 and a member of the National Assembly of Serbia from 2016 to 2020. Prior to joining the SSP on its formation in 2019, she was at different times a member of the League of Social Democrats of Vojvodina (''Liga socijaldemokrata Vojvodine'', LSV) and the New Party (''Nova stranka'', NOVA). Bežanija
Bežanija ( sr-cyr, Бежанија, ) is an urban neighborhood of Belgrade, Serbia. It is located in Belgrade's municipality of Novi Beograd, in the Syrmia region. Location Bežanija is located west of the downtown Belgrade, across the Sava river, in the Syrmia region. It is situated in the central part of the Novi Beograd municipality, on the southern extension of the elongated, crescent-shaped yellow loess ridge of ''Bežanijska kosa''. The ridge (or slope, as it is called in Serbian, ''kosa'') gives its name to the northern extension of Bežanija, Bežanijska Kosa, and stretches to the right banks of the Danube in the neighborhood of Zemun. Dragan Đilas ( sr-cyr, Драган Ђилас, , born 22 February 1967) is a Serbian businessman and politician who served as the mayor of Belgrade from 2008 to 2013. Dejan Bulatović
Dejan Bulatović ( sr-cyr, Дејан Булатовић; born 8 February 1975) is a Serbian politician and activist serving as the member of the National Assembly since 1 August 2022. He received international attention during the 1996–1997 protests in Serbia after he was arrested for carrying a puppet of Slobodan Milošević dressed in prison garb; subsequent reports that he was beaten by state authorities were covered in major newspapers worldwide. The third cabinet of Ana Brnabić was formed on 26 October 2022, following the latter's election as prime minister of Serbia by the National Assembly on the same day. It succeeded the second cabinet of Ana Brnabić and is the incumbent government of Serbia since 26 October 2022. The Serbian Progressive Party (SNS) came to power in 2012. Brnabić was appointed prime minister by Aleksandar Vučić, the president of Serbia, in June 2017 and was elected shortly afterward by the National Assembly. Dveri
The Serbian Movement "Dveri" ( sr-Cyr, Српски покрет Двери, Srpski pokret Dveri), commonly just known as Dveri (), is a nationalist and right-wing populist political party in Serbia. It its currently led by Boško Obradović, who is one of the co-founders of the party. Formed as a youth-orientated political organization in 1999, it published an eponymous student magazine that promoted clerical and nationalist content. Through the 2000s, it operated as a non-governmental organization that campaigned in favor of Christian right views, that included opposition to abortion and opposition to gay rights.
