Salbari
Salbari(Bodo: सालबारि) is one of the sub divisions of Baksa district in the state of Assam, India. History A hundred years ago, there was no village named Salbari, but the place was surrounded by various sal plantations, leading to economic and population growth. There were some old villages like Hudukhata, Samuagati, Kamlabari and Hasora. After some years, people moved to the Salbari sub-division and villages like Salbari, Madhapur, Udhiaguri Hadan, Tangabarigaon, Aaohata, Palchiguri, Pakriguri, Uhiaguri and Gwjwnphuri were created. There was also no marketplace near Salbari, so residents went to a one-day market around 8.5 kilometres away at Bahbari Bazaar, but sometimes people of Salbari had disputes with the larger groups or local people. Therefore, the people of Salbari had the idea of creating a local marketplace and started the Salbari Bazaar. Baksa District
Baksa district ( or ) is an administrative district in the Bodoland Territorial Region of Assam, one of the North-Eastern states of India. The administrative headquarters is at Mushalpur. Manas National Park is a part of this district. History Baksa was notified as one of the districts of Bodoland Territorial Region in October 2003 while it started functioning from 1 June 2004 when naturalist-bureaucrat Dr Anwaruddin Choudhury of the Assam Civil Service took charge as its founding Deputy Commissioner. Bodo Language
Boro (बर'/बड़ो ), also called Bodo, is a Sino-Tibetan language spoken primarily by the Boro people of India, Nepal and Bangladesh. It is an official language of the Indian state of Assam, predominantly spoken in the Bodoland Territorial Region. A Postal Index Number (PIN; sometimes redundantly a PIN code) refers to a six-digit code in the Indian postal code system used by India Post. On 15 August 2022, the PIN system celebrated its 50th anniversary.
