Uh-ee
"Uh-ee" (Hangul: ) is the fourth single album, and sixth single overall by Crayon Pop. It was released on April 1, 2014 by Chrome Entertainment and Sony Music Entertainment, Sony Music, and was written by Kang Jin Woo of Dumb & Dumber, the producers behind Crayon Pop's first three singles. The song is an electro House music, house dance song mixed with Trot (music), trot music. Release and promotion "Uh-ee" was performed for the first time on March 28 at a showcase at Olleh Square in Seoul. For the song's promotion, Crayon Pop wore hanbok-inspired clothing: outfits made of ramie cloth, bandanas, and ''gomusin'' (traditional rubber shoes). Crayon Pop
Crayon Pop (Hangul: 크레용팝) is a South Korean girl group formed under Chrome Entertainment in 2012. The group consisted of four members: Geummi, Ellin, Choa, and Way. Their fifth member, Soyul, left the group in 2017. Crayon Pop officially debuted in July 2012 with their performance of "Saturday Night" on Mnet's ''M! Countdown''. Their first EP was not a commercial success, and when their song "Dancing Queen" was released in October, the group had few opportunities to promote on music shows. Instead they held guerrilla performances on the streets of Seoul, which helped increase their fanbase. Crayon Pop gained a huge increase in popularity following the release of their single album "Bar Bar Bar" in June 2013. Chrome Entertainment is a record label and talent agency founded by Hwang Hyun-chang in 2011, based in Seoul, South Korea. Since 2014, Chrome Entertainment is a label under Sony Music Entertainment. History Hwang Hyun-chang, a commercial photographer, was inspired to create a girl group after seeing T-ara's " Roly Poly" on television. Before that, he had never paid attention to pop idols and only listened to classical music. After an initial investment of 10 million won, he converted his photography studio, Chrome Creative, into Chrome Entertainment. To finance this venture, Hwang sold his camera gear, used up all his savings, and went into debt. He later said, "If I had known how much it would cost, I would never have done it." "Lonely Christmas" () is the third single album, and fifth single overall by Crayon Pop. It was released on November 26, 2013 by Chrome Entertainment and Sony Music. The song was a Christmas follow-up to the successful " Bar Bar Bar". ''Pops in Seoul'' described it as "a dance song with funk and disco sounds". Performances Crayon Pop's comeback stage for "Lonely Christmas" was on Mnet's ''M! Countdown'' on December 5, 2013, and promotion continued through the end of the month. Despite being a Christmas song, it was one of the songs performed by Crayon Pop as the opening act of Lady Gaga's ArtRave: The Artpop Ball. Music video The music video for "Lonely Christmas" was released on December 1. ''FM'' is the third Korean mini album of South Korean girl group Crayon Pop. It was released on March 27, 2015, one year after their last Korean release, "Uh-ee". The lead single of the same name was written by hitmaker Shinsadong Tiger and has a "female warrior" concept based on super hero TV shows such as ''Super Sentai'' and '' Sailor Moon''. Release and promotion The lead single, "FM", was first performed at K-Pop Night Out at SXSW in Austin, Texas on March 19. Bob Girls () was a South Korean girl group under the management of Chrome Entertainment. The group consisted of four members, Dahye, Yujeong, Jina and Danbi. They debuted on June 10, 2014 with the single "No Way" from ''The 1st Single Album''. In February 2015, it was reported that Jina was diagnosed with encephalitis and the group was disbanded. History Chrome Entertainment released a picture of Bob Girls on May 21. DJ D.O.C. is a South Korean hip-hop trio consisting of members Kim Chang-yeol, Lee Ha-neul and Jung Jae-yong. DJ D.O.C. stands for Dream Of Children. Kwon Ki-bum (Hangul: 권기범, born September 22, 1984), known as Bumkey (Hangul: 범키), is a South Korean R&B singer under Brand New Music. He made his musical debut in 2010 as part of the hip hop duo 2winS and is currently a member of the Korean hip hop and R&B quartet Troy. Life and career Kwon Ki-bum was born September 22, 1984 in Seoul. His family moved to Los Angeles in 1999, where he lived for five years before returning to Korea alone in 2004 to pursue a music career.
