Óscar Ugarte
Óscar Raúl Ugarte Ubilluz (born 30 October 1944) is a Peruvian physician who is the current Minister of Health under President Francisco Sagasti since 13 February 2021. He previously held the position under President Alan García from October 2008 to July 2011. Adriana Sofía Ugarte Pardal (born 17 January 1985) is a Spanish actress. She is known for her leading roles on television series ''La Señora'' and ''El tiempo entre costuras''. Alfonso Ugarte
Alfonso Ugarte (July 13, 1847 – June 7, 1880) was a Peruvian civilian turned military commander during the War of the Pacific, between Peru and Bolivia against Chile. He held the rank of colonel. Ugarte was born in Tarapacá, Peru, the son of the rich ''tarapaqueños'' retailers Don Narciso Ugarte and Doña Rosa Vernal. At an early age, he was sent by his parents to the Chilean port of Valparaiso, where he was educated, finishing his studies in 1868. On his return to Peru, he settled in Iquique, where he administered the family business. He was elected City Mayor in 1876. At the beginning of the War of the Pacific, Ugarte was about to leave the country for a business trip to Europe, but instead he decided to stay in order to organize a battalion using his own money. Blanca Rosana Ugarte Guzmán (born 1959), better known as Poly Ugarte, is an Ecuadorian activist, lawyer, and politician. Biography Poly Ugarte was born in 1959 in the Puerto Bolívar parish of Machala Canton. She completed high school at La Asunción school and her higher education at the Universidad Católica de Santiago de Guayaquil, where she obtained a law degree. She began her political career in 1992 in support of the presidential candidacy of conservative Jaime Nebot. Juan Ugarte Aiestarán (born 7 November 1980) is a Spanish retired footballer who played as a striker. Club career Born in San Sebastián, Gipuzkoa, Ugarte was brought up in local giants Real Sociedad's youth system, but only appeared once for the first team during his two-year spell as a senior. Manuel Baldomero Ugarte (27 February 1875 – 2 December 1951) was an Argentine writer and member of the Argentinian Socialist Party. Biography Manuel Baldomero Ugarte was born in San José de Flores, now part of the city of Buenos Aires, on 27 February 1875. His father was Floro Ugarte, and his mother was Sabina Rivero.
