Ugala is a theatre in Viljandi, Estonia. The theatre was founded in 1920 opening on January 10 of that year. The first production was Oscar Wilde's " Salome". Enn Toona
Enn Toona (13 January 1909 – Väinjärve Parish – 22 March 1973 Tallinn) was an Estonian actor and director. 1934-1935 he studied at Tartu Stage Art Studio ( et, Tartu Näitekunsti Stuudio). 1935–1936 he was an actor at Estonian Drama Theatre, 1936–1942 and 1943–1944 at Tallinna Töölisteater. 1947–1948 he was a director at Ugala Theatre. 1955-1957 he worked at Estonian Radio Eesti Raadio (Estonian Radio, ER) was the public service radio broadcaster of Estonia that, at the time of closure, operated five national radio stations. Ott Aardam (born 1 July 1980) is an Estonian stage, television, and film actor. Early life Born and raised in Orissaare on the island of Saaremaa, he graduated from primary school in 1995 from Orissaare Gymnasium. In 1998, he graduated from secondary school from Saaremaa Gymnasium. Jaak Allik (born 6 October 1946) is an Estonian theatre critic, theatre director and politician. He is a member of the Social Democratic Party, and was previously the Estonian Minister of Culture 1995–1999 ( et, Eesti kultuuriminister). He was member of the VII, VIII and X Riigikogu. Personal life Jaak studied at the University of Tartu with a bachelor's degree in philosophy and a major in sociology and history, later working as a lecturer in that same university. He worked as a theater director and designer in the 1980s, becoming the set designer for Ugala.
