Udayana University
Udayana University ( id, Universitas Udayana, abbreviated as UNUD) is a public for-profit university in Denpasar, Bali, Indonesia. It was established on September 29, 1962 and it used to belong to the Airlangga University that mainly located in Surabaya. Its current rector is I Nyoman Gde Antara. The university's name was derived from the 10th century Balinese King Udayana (Dharmodayana) of the Warmadewa Dynasty. Based on official data released by the Ministry of Research, Technology and Higher Education of Indonesia (Kemenristekdikti), Udayana University is ranked 57th. The ranking released by Kemenristekdikti is based on four indicators, those are: the quality of human resources, quality of management, the variety of student activities, quality of research and publications. Balinese Language
Balinese is a Malayo-Polynesian language spoken by 3.3 million people () on the Indonesian island of Bali as well as Northern Nusa Penida, Western Lombok, Eastern Java, Southern Sumatra, and Sulawesi. Most Balinese speakers also know Indonesian. Miss Supranational 2013 was the fifth Miss Supranational pageant. It was held on September 6, 2013 at the Minsk Sports Palace in Minsk, Belarus. Ekaterina Buraya of Belarus crowned Mutya Johanna Datul of the Philippines at the end of the event. She is the first Filipino and Asian to be crowned Miss Supranational. Puteri Indonesia 2012-2013, the 17th Annual Puteri Indonesia beauty pageant, was held in Jakarta Convention Center, Jakarta, Indonesia on February 1, 2013. Miss International 2009, the 49th Miss International pageant, was held on November 28, 2009, at the Sichuan International Tennis Center in Chengdu, Sichuan, China. The pageant was originally scheduled to be held on November 7, 2009, at The Venetian Macao in Macau, but the host committee backed out. 65 contestants competed for the coveted title. Puteri Indonesia 2008 (sometimes called Miss Indonesia Universe 2008) is the 13th edition of Puteri Indonesia beauty pageant. The grand final election was held in the Plenary Hall, Jakarta Convention Center, Jakarta, in the evening of 15 August 2008. Nusa Dua is a resort area built in the 1970s in the southern part of Bali, Indonesia. Known as an enclave of large five-star resorts, it covers 350 hectares of land and encloses more than 20 resorts.
