Ubaldo José Heredia Martínez (born May 4, 1956 in Ciudad Bolívar, Venezuela) is a former Major League Baseball right-handed starting pitcher who played for the Montreal Expos in 1987. Heredia compiled a 0–1 record with six strikeouts and a 5.40 of ERA in 10 innings. In baseball, the pitcher is the player who throws ("pitches") the baseball from the pitcher's mound toward the catcher to begin each play, with the goal of retiring a batter, who attempts to either make contact with the pitched ball or draw a walk.
