The USA Rugby Elite Cup was an American rugby union Rugby union, commonly known simply as rugby, is a close-contact team sport that originated at Rugby School in the first half of the 19th century. The competition was founded in 2012, replacing the USA Rugby Super League involving top USA rugby clubs. The inaugural Elite Cup tournament began on 16 March 2013, but the competition folded at the end of 2013. The Seattle Rugby Club (formerly Seattle Saracens and Old Puget Sound Beach after a merger) is a rugby union club based in Seattle. The club travels throughout the US and into Canada. Travers Island, New York
Travers Island is a former island in Long Island Sound, located in the city of New Rochelle, New York. The island, originally united by a causeway to the mainland, comprises a tract of thirty acres in the Lower Harbor of New Rochelle, situated between Neptune Island (Long Island Sound), Neptune Island, Glen Island Park (New Rochelle, New York), Glen Island and Hunter Island, New York, Hunter Island in New York City's Pelham Bay Park.
