UPCN Voley or UPCN San Juan is an Argentina, Argentine volleyball club based in San Juan, Argentina, San Juan. The club was founded in 2007 and takes part of Liga Argentina de Voleibol – Serie A1, the top level of the Argentine men's volleyball league system, since 2009–10 season. It has won 5 consecutive national championships between 2011 and 2015, becoming one of the most successful clubs on the league's history. Estadio Aldo Cantoni
The Estadio Aldo Cantoni is an indoor arena located in the city of San Juan, capital of San Juan Province. It is mainly use by UPCN Vóley Club and Obras Pocito for its home matches for the Serie A1, the top level of the Argentine men's volleyball league system. UPCN Vóley Club won the national league for six consecutive years, from 2010-11 to 2015-16 season. Roller hockey is a very popular sport in Cuyo, specially in San Juan Province. This stadium has hosted five times the FIRS Roller Hockey World Cup, and it is also used by several teams for their Liga Nacional Argentina A-1 matches. San Juan was one of the venues for the 2002 FIVB Volleyball Men's World Championship, hosting five out of six matches for Group A. The opening match of the tournament, between Argentina and Australia, was held at the Luna Park Stadium, in Buenos Aires. Liga Argentina De Voleibol – Serie A1
The Liga Argentina de Voleibol – Serie A1 (in English: Argentine Volleyball League – A1 Level) is the top level of the Argentine men's professional volleyball league system. It is organized by the ''Asociación de Clubes Liga Argentina de Voleibol'' (abbreviated to ACLAV). The Serie A1 has promotion and relegation with the Serie A2, the league immediately below. Volleyball
Volleyball is a team sport in which two teams of six players are separated by a net. Each team tries to score points by grounding a ball on the other team's court under organized rules. It has been a part of the official program of the Summer Olympic Games since Tokyo 1964. Beach volleyball was introduced to the programme at the Atlanta 1996. The adapted version of volleyball at the Summer Paralympic Games is sitting volleyball. The South American Men's Volleyball Club Championship is an international men's club volleyball competition organized by the ''Confederación Sudamericana de Voleibol'' (CSV), the sport's governing body in South America. The competition was first contested in 2009 in Florianópolis, Brazil and tournaments have been held every year since then. FIVB Volleyball Men's Club World Championship
The FIVB Volleyball Men's Club World Championship is an international men's club volleyball competition organised by the '' Fédération Internationale de Volleyball'' (FIVB), the sport's global governing body. The competition was first contested in 1989 in Italy. It was not held between 1993 and 2008, but since 2009, the competition has been held every year, and has been hosted by Qatar and Brazil except in 2017 and 2018 where both hosted by Poland.
