UNC Greensboro Spartans Men's Soccer
The UNC Greensboro Spartans men's soccer team is the varsity intercollegiate athletic team of University of North Carolina at Greensboro in Greensboro, North Carolina, United States. The team is a member of the Southern Conference, which is part of the National Collegiate Athletic Association's Division I. UNCG's first men's soccer team was fielded in 1971. The team plays its home games at UNCG Soccer Stadium in Greensboro. The UNCG Spartans have a three pronged coaching system run by head coach Chris Rich (2019) and assistant coaches Garrett McLaughlin(2018) and Jaime Ibarra(2019) Historically, UNCG has been one of the most successful college soccer teams in North Carolina. In the 1980s, UNCG, while still playing in NCAA Division III, won five NCAA Division III Men's Soccer Championships. Eddie Radwanski
Edward Radwanski (born May 5, 1963, Neptune Township, New Jersey) is an American former soccer midfielder. He spent the five seasons in the Major Indoor Soccer League, one in the Continental Indoor Soccer League and seven in the USISL and its predecessor, the SISL. He also earned five caps with the U.S. national team in 1985. Player Youth and college Radwanski grew up in New Jersey and graduated from Neptune High School in 1981. In 1999, he was named by ''The Star-Ledger'' as one of the top ten New Jersey high school soccer players of the 1980s. In addition to playing with his school teams, he was a member of the Wall Atoms youth club. Chris Goos
Christopher Goos is a retired American soccer midfielder who played professionally in the USL First Division. Goos graduated from Klein High School. His sophomore season, he scored two goals in Klein's victory over Grapevine High School in the Texas high school soccer championship. In his senior season at Klein HS Chris was an All-American and led his school to another state title defeating Kingwood HS in the finals. That completed a 27-0-1 season record and a national #1 ranking for Klein HS. He attended UNC Greensboro, playing on the men's soccer team from 1999 to 2002. In 2002, his senior season, Goos led the nation in scoring with 20 goals and 20 assists. This led to his selection as a 2002 NCAA Division I Second Team All American. Scott Jones (Puerto Rican Footballer)
Scott Lyman Jones (born September 22, 1983) is a Puerto Rican international footballer. Career College and amateur Jones grew up in Dallas, Texas, where he attended Jesuit College Preparatory School of Dallas. He then attended the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, playing on the men's college soccer team from 2003 to 2006. He was a 2004 second team All American and a 2005 first team All American. Randi Luther Pereira-Patterson (born 16 April 1985), known as Randi Patterson, is an American-born Trinidadian footballer who plays as a forward. Sigurður Ragnar Eyjólfsson
Sigurður "Siggi" Ragnar Eyjólfsson (born 1 December 1973) is an Icelandic football manager and former player. He was a professional forward in England and Belgium. From 2007 until 2013 he served as the head coach of Iceland women's national team, guiding them to the 2009 and 2013 editions of the UEFA Women's Championship. Jason Haupt is a retired American soccer defender who played professionally in the USISL A-League. Youth In 1984, Haupt's youth club, the Florida Gold Coast won the AAU U-16 national championship. Brian Japp is a retired American soccer defender who played professionally in the USISL A-League and American Professional Soccer League. In 1983, Japp graduated from North Miami Senior High School.
