Edward Small (born Edward Schmalheiser, February 1, 1891, Brooklyn, New York – January 25, 1977, Los Angeles) was a film producer from the late 1920s through 1970, who was enormously prolific over a 50-year career. He is best known for the movies ''The Count of Monte Cristo'' (1934), '' The Man in the Iron Mask'' (1939), ''The Corsican Brothers'' (1941), '' Brewster's Millions'' (1945), '' Raw Deal'' (1948), ''Black Magic (1949)'', ''Witness for the Prosecution'' (1957) and ''Solomon and Sheba'' (1959). Early life and career Small was born on February 1, 1891 to a Jewish family in Brooklyn, the son of Rose (née Lewin) and Philip Schmalheiser. His mother was born in Prussia and his father was born in Austria; he had three sisters and two brothers. He began his career as a talent agent in New York City. ''Dragnet'' is an American television series. It ran for four seasons, from January 12, 1967, to April 16, 1970. Edward James Ruppelt (July 17, 1923 – September 15, 1960) was a United States Air Force officer probably best known for his involvement in Project Blue Book, a formal governmental study of unidentified flying objects (UFOs). He is generally credited with coining the term "unidentified flying object", to replace the terms " flying saucer" and "flying disk" – which had become widely known – because the military thought them to be "misleading when applied to objects of every conceivable shape and performance. Harry Morgan (born Harry Bratsberg; April 10, 1915 – December 7, 2011) was an American actor and director whose television and film career spanned six decades.
