''UFC Fight Night: Miocic vs. Hunt'' (also known as ''UFC Fight Night 65'') was a mixed martial arts event held on 10 May 2015 at the Adelaide Entertainment Centre in Adelaide, South Australia. Background The event was the first that the promotion has held in South Australia. The event was headlined by a Heavyweight (MMA), heavyweight bout between top contenders Stipe Miocic and Mark Hunt. The fight saw Miocic set the record for the number of total strikes landed in a Ultimate Fighting Championship, UFC bout, with Miocic landing 361 strikes. Miocic also outlanded Hunt 361–46 in total strikes with the 315 strike differential being the largest margin in Ultimate Fighting Championship, UFC history. Anthony Perosh (born 5 October 1972) is a retired Australian professional mixed martial artist who competed in the Light Heavyweight division of the Ultimate Fighting Championship. Background Perosh was born and raised in Sydney, Australia and is of Croatian descent, as both of his parents are Croatian immigrants. Perosh began training in martial arts while doing security work to help pay for college tuition. The training would help him in working security and he began his training in 1995 with Paul Zadro, when he was 23 years old.
