Union Deportiva de Tánger, also known as Unión Deportiva España de Tánger, was a association football, football club based in Tangier during its Spanish protectorate in Morocco, Spanish protectorate. History The La Unión Deportiva España de Tánger "UDET'' in Spanish, or Unión Deportiva de Tánger ''UDT'', also known as 'España de Tánger', was a Spanish football club founded in Tangier. The Unión Deportiva España de Tánger was one of the teams in the Spanish Second Division during the 1950s. Until Moroccan independence, football competition in the Spanish protectorate (to which only Tangier belonged between 1940 and 1945) was run by the Spanish Football League. In Morocco there were other teams of Spanish origin, such as the Unión Deportiva Sevillana, the Unión Tangerina, the Fútbol Club Iberia or the Club Atlético Tetuán. Adolfo Bolea
Adolfo Bolea Sanz (24 March 1933 – 14 November 2020) was a Spanish football forward and manager. In a career spent mostly with Cádiz, he played 309 games and scored 115 goals in Segunda División, adding three in six in La Liga for Español. He also managed Cádiz in two brief spells. Playing career Born in El Poble-sec, Barcelona, Catalonia, Bolea began his career at Sant Andreu in 1951–52, making his debut on 30 September 1951 in an 8–0 Segunda División loss at Racing Ferrol. In his fourth game, on 21 October, he scored his first goal, equalising for a 1–1 home draw against Osasuna. He finished the season with eight goals, hitting 13 in 29 appearances in the following campaign – including his first hat-trick, in a 4–1 home win over Caudal Deportivo – as the team ranked in eighth place and suffered administrative relegation. Escuela Hispano Árabe de Tánger was a Spanish football club based in Tangier, in Morocco. History Founded in 1939 as a merger between the Spanish and the Moroccan teams of ''Hogar Español de Tánger'', the club played its first season in the Segunda División thanks to the help of the city during the Spanish Civil War.
