Existing Georgetown bypass route U.S. Route 460 Bypass (US 460 Byp.) is a bypass route in Georgetown, Kentucky. It serves as the main part of the Georgetown Bypass. The majority of its route is shared with US 62; the other part of the bypass is KY 1143. It begins across from the Carewood Golf Course and runs southeasterly where it intersects and merges with US 62. Just after sharply curving slightly to the northeast US 62/US 460 Byp. has an intersection with US 25, then begins to curve more toward the north around the vicinity of a pair of bridges over a railroad line. US 460 Byp. ends at US 460 two blocks west of exit 125 on I-75, while US 62 continues northward toward Columbus, Ohio. State Route 91 (SR 91) is a primary state highway in the U.S. state of Virginia. The state highway runs from the Tennessee state line near Damascus, where the highway continues as Tennessee State Route 91 (SR 91), north to U.S. Route 19 Business (US 19 Business) and US 460 Business at Frog Level. SR 91 connects Damascus in southeastern Washington County with the northeastern county town Glade Spring, where the highway has junctions with US 11 and Interstate 81 (I-81). A concurrency in a road network is an instance of one physical roadway bearing two or more different route numbers. When two roadways share the same right-of-way, it is sometimes called a common section or commons. Other terminology for a concurrency includes overlap, coincidence, duplex (two concurrent routes), triplex (three concurrent routes), multiplex (any number of concurrent routes), dual routing or triple routing. Concurrent numbering can become very common in jurisdictions that allow it. Where multiple routes must pass between a single mountain crossing or over a bridge, or through a major city, it is often economically and practically advantageous for them all to be accommodated on a single physical roadway.
