U.S. Junior National Figure Skating Championships
The U.S. Junior Figure Skating Championships, often referred to by figure skaters as Junior Nationals, was a national level figure skating competition for American skaters at the juvenile and intermediate levels. The first such event, originally called Junior Olympics, was held in the mid 1990s. Singles freestyle competitors qualified at the regional level while pairs and ice dancers qualified at the sectional level. Juvenile and intermediate levels competed at the JFS Championships until 2012. United States Figure Skating Championships
The U.S. Figure Skating Championships is a figure skating competition held annually to crown the national champions of the United States. The competition is sanctioned by U.S. Figure Skating. In the U.S. skating community, the event is often referred to informally as "Nationals". Medals are currently awarded in four disciplines: men's (boys') singles, ladies' (girls') singles, pair skating, and ice dancing in four colors: gold (first), silver (second), bronze (third), and pewter (fourth) on two levels, senior and junior. Medals were previously given at the novice, intermediate, and juvenile levels. Richard Dornbush
Richard Dornbush (born August 27, 1991) is an American former figure skater. He is the 2014 Lombardia Trophy champion, 2010 ISU Junior Grand Prix Final champion, and 2011 U.S. national silver medalist. He competed at the 2011 World Championships and was an alternate for the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi, Russia. Personal life Richard Dornbush was born in Corona, California. He has three older sisters. He played the violin for six years. After studying physics at Riverside Community College, he transferred to University of California, San Diego and joined Earl Warren College. Kevin Qi Han (born November 25, 1972) is a Chinese American badminton player who won the bronze medal in the inaugural men's singles competition at the 1995 Pan American Games, followed by the gold medal four years later in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. John McKenna ( ga, Seán Mac Cionnaoith; 3 January 1855 – 22 March 1936) was an Irish businessman, professional rugby player, and the first manager of the Liverpool Football Club which has since gone on to become one of the most successful football clubs in England. Early life and career McKenna was born on 3 January 1855 in Donagh Parish, Glaslough, Ireland. He was the son of Patrick McKenna and Jane McCrudden.
