U-19 Thailand Championship
U-19 Thailand Championship, commonly known as Coke Cup Thailand by title sponsor Coca-Cola, is an annual nationwide youth under-19 association football tournament. It is the largest scale youth amateur sport event in Thailand, even as soccer continues to gain more attention. The tournament, organized by the Football Association of Thailand and Coca-Cola, first formed in 1979, before to the match it will be training instructors in the project "Coke go for goal" for the trainer of the schools in Bangkok College of Physical Education and trainers across the country. In later years there has been a nationwide competition for the first time with joined of Thai League 1 club and changed the name of the competition to become more competitive as "Coke Cup Thailand". Buriram (, , , 'city of happiness') is a town (''thesaban mueang'') in Thailand, capital of Buriram Province, about northeast of Bangkok. The town occupies ''tambon'' Nai Mueang of Mueang Buriram District. In 2012 it had a population of 27,862. History Almost a thousand years ago, the present-day Buriram was part of the Khmer Empire. Ruins from that time attest to its destruction. The most significant of them is on an extinct volcano and is protected in the Phanom Rung Historical Park. According to inscriptions found, Buriram's ruler recognized the hegemony of the Khmer Empire's emperor. Before the ascent of Bangkok, little was known about Buriram. In the early Bangkok Period, in the early-19th century, the town originally called ''Muang Pae'' was renamed ''Buriram''. Kiatprawut Saiwaeo ( th, เกียรติประวุฒิ สายแวว, born January 24, 1986), simply known as Car ( th, คาร์), is a Thai retired professional footballer who played as a defender. Club career Manchester City Kiatprawut was one of three Thai players given trials by Manchester City shortly after former Thailand Prime Minister, Thaksin Shinawatra's takeover of the club in July 2007, prompting suggestions that the moves were made for political rather than footballing reasons. The trio signed contracts in November 2007, but did not come close to making a first team appearance, and lacked work permits due to Thailand's low world ranking. Consequently, Kiatprawut was sent on loan to Belgian club Club Brugge.
