U.S. Route 62 Business (Muskogee, Oklahoma)
Sixteen special routes of U.S. Route 62 currently exist. Seven of them lie within the state of Arkansas. Three existed in the past but have since been decommissioned. They are featured in many highway systems; most are found in the Interstate Highway System, U.S. highway system, and several state highway systems. Spur Route
A spur route is a short road forming a branch from a longer, more important road such as a freeway, Interstate Highway, or motorway. A bypass or beltway should not be considered a true spur route as it typically reconnects with another or the same major road. Canada In the province of Ontario, most spur routes are designated as A or B, such as Highway 17A, or 7B. A stands for "Alternate Route", and usually links a highway to a town's central core or main attraction, while B stands for "Business Route" or "Bypass", but are used when a main highway is routed around a town and away from its former alignment. Eureka Springs is a city in Carroll County, Arkansas, United States, and one of two county seats for the county. A concurrency in a road network is an instance of one physical roadway bearing two or more different route numbers. When two roadways share the same right-of-way, it is sometimes called a common section or commons. Arkansas And Missouri Railroad
The Arkansas and Missouri Railroad is a Class III short-line railroad headquartered in Springdale, Arkansas. The A&M, as it is known, operates of line from Fort Smith, Arkansas to Monett, Missouri. The railroad interchanges freight cars with Kansas City Southern Railway at Fort Smith, with Union Pacific Railroad at Van Buren, Arkansas, and with BNSF Railway at Monett. A branch line connects Bentonville, Arkansas, with the main line in Rogers, Arkansas. A&M also leases of track (locally known as "the Bottoms") from Union Pacific at Van Buren, and provides haulage services for Union Pacific between Van Buren and the Fort Smith Railroad in Fort Smith. The Rogers Commercial Historic District, known informally as Historic Downtown Rogers, is a historic district in the central business district of Rogers, Arkansas. When it was first listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1988, it was known as the Walnut Street Historic District; this was changed when the district was enlarged in 1993. The district encompasses a portion of the city's central business district, whose historical significance extends from about 1885 to the end of World War II.
