Téva is a French general-interest public television channel, privately owned, with a female and family focus, belonging to the M6 Group. Téva has been broadcast in 16:9 since 10 November 2009 and in HD quality since 8 November 2011. History In April 1995, Laurence Aupetit was appointed as Project Development Director for the new thematic channel, which was then called ''Vivre''. Following differences of opinion, she resigned and was replaced by Mike Le Bas. Téva is a mini generalist digital television channel available on cable, satellite, and ADSL in France. The core target is the housewife under the age of 50. Since its inception, it has been aimed at an essentially female audience with children. It is the first channel to have chosen this positioning. W9 (TV Channel)
W9 () is a French television network available through digital terrestrial television Télévision Numérique Terrestre, TNT, Satellite television, satellite and Internet television, ADSL. It is a subsidiary of the Groupe M6; the name W9 has been selected for the channel because "W9" is a mirror writing, mirror written equivalent of "M6", and as it was the nation's ninth broadcast network. History The name W9 was invented by Les Inconnus in the early 90s with a sketch that spoofed M6's music programming at the time, with the logo being a rotated version of M6's. The sketch portrays the interaction between Roxane (played by Pascal Légitimus) with an American accent who wants to ask Michel (played by Bernard Campan) about the name of the excerpt of the song that was being played. Gulli (; stylised as gulli) is a French free-to-air television channel focused on kids programming for those aged 3 to 14. It was created as a result of a partnership between Lagardère Active and state-owned broadcaster France Télévisions. In 2019, the M6 Group bought Gulli as well as the television division of the Lagardère Active Group. History The channel was launched on 18 November 2005 on the digital terrestrial television platform in France. Ten years later, on 1 July 2015, Gulli launched its own HD simulcast feed on the Astra 1 satellite. On 5 April 2016, its HD feed is launched on DTT. 6ter (pronounced: ister is a French television network which is available free-to-air through digital terrestrial television, satellite and DSL. It is a subsidiary of the Groupe M6; the name 6ter has been selected for the channel as M6's little "sister". It is available in France on channel 22. History Following the call of applications of the CSA for the launch of six new channels on the DTT, Groupe M6 presented three projects of channels : 6ter, M6 Boutique & Co and Hexa. ''Cougar Town'' is an American television sitcom that ran for 102 episodes over six seasons, from September 23, 2009, until March 31, 2015. The first three seasons aired on ABC, with the series moving to TBS for the remaining three seasons. ABC officially gave the series a full season pickup on October 8, 2009.
