Gulli
Gulli (; stylised as gulli) is a French free-to-air television channel focused on kids programming for those aged 3 to 14. It was created as a result of a partnership between Lagardère Active and state-owned broadcaster France Télévisions. In 2019, the M6 Group bought Gulli as well as the television division of the Lagardère Active Group. History The channel was launched on 18 November 2005 on the digital terrestrial television platform in France. Ten years later, on 1 July 2015, Gulli launched its own HD simulcast feed on the Astra 1 satellite. On 5 April 2016, its HD feed is launched on DTT. Gulli was created as a result of a partnership between a kids-television pioneer companies Lagardère Active and the state-owned France Télévisions. Gulliver's Travels
''Gulliver's Travels'', or ''Travels into Several Remote Nations of the World. In Four Parts. By Lemuel Gulliver, First a Surgeon, and then a Captain of Several Ships'' is a 1726 prose satire by the Anglo-Irish writer and clergyman Jonathan Swift, satirising both human nature and the "travellers' tales" literary subgenre. Jonathan Swift
Jonathan Swift (30 November 1667 – 19 October 1745) was an Anglo-Irish Satire, satirist, author, essayist, political pamphleteer (first for the Whig (British political party), Whigs, then for the Tories (British political party), Tories), poet, and Anglican cleric who became Dean (Christianity), Dean of St Patrick's Cathedral, Dublin, hence his common sobriquet, "Dean Swift". Digital Terrestrial Television In France
Television in France was introduced in 1931, when the first experimental broadcasts began. Colour television was introduced in October 1967 on La Deuxième Chaîne. M6 (), also known as , is the most profitable private national French public television channel and the third most watched television network in the French-speaking world. M6 is the head channel of the M6 Group media empire that owns several TV channels, magazines, publications, movie production and media-related firms etc. It is owned by RTL Group. On 20 May 2021 it was announced that M6 Group, owners of the channel, has proposed a merger with TF1 Group, which owns TF1. W9 () is a French television network available through digital terrestrial television Télévision Numérique Terrestre, TNT, Satellite television, satellite and Internet television, ADSL. It is a subsidiary of the Groupe M6; the name W9 has been selected for the channel because "W9" is a mirror writing, mirror written equivalent of "M6", and as it was the nation's ninth broadcast network. History The name W9 was invented by Les Inconnus in the early 90s with a sketch that spoofed M6's music programming at the time, with the logo being a rotated version of M6's. 6ter (pronounced: ister is a French television network which is available free-to-air through digital terrestrial television, satellite and DSL. It is a subsidiary of the Groupe M6; the name 6ter has been selected for the channel as M6's little "sister". It is available in France on channel 22. History Following the call of applications of the CSA for the launch of six new channels on the DTT, Groupe M6 presented three projects of channels : 6ter, M6 Boutique & Co and Hexa.
