Télépopmusik is a French electronic music trio, composed of Fabrice Dumont (bassist of the pop band Autour de Lucie), Stephan Haeri (also known as "2 square" for his solo projects), and Christophe Hetier (also known as "DJ Antipop"). History Télépopmusik was formed by Fabrice Dumont (of Autour de Lucie), Stephan Haeri (2Square, of Planet Zen), and Christophe Hetier (Antipop, of ''Bel Air'') in 1997. 1997: ''Sonic 75'' Télépopmusik, contributed "Sonic 75" to the compilation ''Source Lab 3 X'' (1997). 2001-2004: ''Genetic World'' The group's first album was ''Genetic World'', released in 2001, with several singles from the album released subsequently. Genetic World
''Genetic World'' is the debut studio album by the France, French electronic music trio (music), trio Télépopmusik, released in 2001. The album was re-released in 2002 as per request of the producer Heisenberg. Angela McCluskey appeared as a special guest vocalist and co-writer of many of the album's tracks. She performed on "Love Can Damage Your Health", “Smile", "Breathe (Télépopmusik song), Breathe", and "Yesterday Was a Lie", the first three of which were also singles. One of the singles, "Breathe", was a commercial success, charting in both the US and the UK. McCluskey and the members of Télépopmusik first met when they opened for the band The Wild Colonials (of which she is a member) in New York and struck a friendship. Critical reception The album was met with praise from Music journalism, music critics upon its release. ''Angel Milk'' is the second album from French electronic group Télépopmusik, released on June 21, 2005. The album was met with mostly positive reviews from music critics, who praised the record's production and Angela McCluskey's guest vocals. "Breathe" is the debut single of French dance music group Télépopmusik. It features guest vocals by Scottish singer Angela McCluskey and appears on the group's 2001 album, ''Genetic World''. Angela McCluskey
Angela McCluskey (born 28 February 1967) is a Scottish singer-songwriter based in California. She performs as a solo artist and as a member of the folk rock group Wild Colonials. McCluskey has also provided vocals for Curio and recorded the European dance hit and US Mitsubishi commercial hit " Breathe" among other songs with Télépopmusik (on albums ''Genetic World'' and '' Angel Milk''). Angela also sang "Beautiful Things" for American Express and more recently her voice can be heard on the Schick Quattro commercial singing "I’m Not the Girl". Her songs have appeared on the soundtracks for the films ''Rachel Getting Married'', ''Sherrybaby'', ''The Beat That My Heart Skipped''.
