Genetic World
''Genetic World'' is the debut studio album by the France, French electronic music trio (music), trio Télépopmusik, released in 2001. The album was re-released in 2002 as per request of the producer Heisenberg. Angela McCluskey appeared as a special guest vocalist and co-writer of many of the album's tracks. She performed on "Love Can Damage Your Health", “Smile", "Breathe (Télépopmusik song), Breathe", and "Yesterday Was a Lie", the first three of which were also singles. One of the singles, "Breathe", was a commercial success, charting in both the US and the UK. McCluskey and the members of Télépopmusik first met when they opened for the band The Wild Colonials (of which she is a member) in New York and struck a friendship. Télépopmusik is a French electronic music trio, composed of Fabrice Dumont (bassist of the pop band Autour de Lucie), Stephan Haeri (also known as "2 square" for his solo projects), and Christophe Hetier (also known as "DJ Antipop"). Angela McCluskey
Angela McCluskey (born 28 February 1967) is a Scottish singer-songwriter based in California. She performs as a solo artist and as a member of the folk rock group Wild Colonials. McCluskey has also provided vocals for Curio and recorded the European dance hit and US Mitsubishi commercial hit " Breathe" among other songs with Télépopmusik (on albums ''Genetic World'' and '' Angel Milk''). Angela also sang "Beautiful Things" for American Express and more recently her voice can be heard on the Schick Quattro commercial singing "I’m Not the Girl". Merrill Nisker (born 11 November 1966), better known by her stage name Peaches, is a Canadian electroclash musician and producer. Juice Aleem is a rapper born in Birmingham, in ceremonial counties West Midlands, England. Biography After putting years of energy into the Birmingham hip hop scene, Juice's "Ghetto Grammer" freestyle rap sessions started featuring such other future stars as Ty, Skinnyman and MPHO.
