Táta Vega
Táta Vega (born Carmen Rosa Vega, October 7, 1951) is an American vocalist, whose career spans theater, film, and a variety of musical genres. Early life Vega was born in Jamaica Queens, New York and raised between New York, Chicago, Texas, Panama and Puerto Rico. She is of Puerto Rican, Dominican, African, Spanish and Italian descent. Her parents are Luis Alfredo De La Vega, who served in the United States Air Force, and Rosaura Maltés. As a result of her father's work, the family moved frequently. Before she was even a teenager, the family lived in Panama, Puerto Rico, San Antonio, Texas, and Colorado Springs, Colorado. Russ Taff
Russell Taff (born November 11, 1953) is an American gospel singer and songwriter who grew up in Farmersville, California. He has sung a variety of musical styles throughout his career including: pop rock, traditional Southern gospel, contemporary country music, and rhythm and blues. He first gained recognition as lead vocalist for the Imperials (1976–81). One of his best-known performances is the song "Praise the Lord". While not as critically acclaimed as her two previous albums, it received the greatest success on Billboard's Pop and R&B album charts. The double-sided 12 inch single "I Just Keep Thinking About You Baby/Get It Up For Love" hit the Top 20 on Billboard's Dance Music charts.
