Tyson Patterson
Tyson Patterson (born September 17, 1978) is an American former professional basketball player. He is 5'9", weighs 165 pounds and played the point guard position. Patterson played college basketball at Appalachian State University (ASU) between 1996–97 and 1999–2000. Through the 2011–12 season he still holds school records for assists in a game (14), season (218), and career (638), steals in a season (87), and field goal percentage in a game (100%, 12-for-12 shooting). Playing career College After graduating from East Forsyth High School in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, Patterson enrolled at ASU to play for the Mountaineers. In his first season, ASU finished with a 14–14 overall record and a third-place finish in the Southern Conference's (SoCon) North Division. In its current format, each team plays all other teams two times in the regular season, once at home and once away, for a total of 22 regular season games. United States Basketball League
The United States Basketball League (USBL) was a professional men's spring basketball league. The league was formed in 1985 and ceased operations in 2008. The USBL started in 1985 as one of the first basketball leagues to play a late-spring to early-summer schedule. The league quickly became known as a development league for players, with many players moving up to the National Basketball Association, NBA and many more playing in Europe after stints here. In 1996, the league made a stock offering, a rarity among sports leagues. However, in later years, the league declined as rival leagues appeared and USBL had a tougher time replacing teams that folded. The Korisliiga is the premier basketball league in Finland. The 2007-08 season was the 68th Finnish club basketball season. It began on October 6, 2007 and ended on April 27, 2008. The LNB Pro B, commonly known as Pro B, is the French basketball league system, 2nd-tier level men's professional basketball league in France. It is the second division of the Ligue Nationale de Basket (LNB), which has organized the league since the year 1987.
