Sean Tyla
Sean Tyla (born John Michael Kenneth Tyler, 3 August 1946 – 17 May 2020) was an English rock guitarist, keyboardist, vocalist and songwriter, sometimes known as the "Godfather of Boogie". Best known for his work with Ducks Deluxe and Tyla Gang, he also played with Help Yourself, Joan Jett, and Deke Leonard, and appeared solo. Early career He initially toured with Geno Washington & The Ram Jam Band, but made his first record "Miracles" with a band called Third World (not the reggae band Third World formed in 1973) which was released on CBS in 1970, He also recorded an unreleased album with Maynard Ferguson. Help Yourself In 1971, Tyla became a roadie with Help Yourself, who based their psychedelic instrumental number "All Electric Fur Trapper" on a fantasy tale Tyla was writing, part of which appeared in the sleeve of their ''Strange Affair'' album. Tyla (English Musician)
Tyla J. Pallas (born Timothy Taylor, 09th of July 1960) is an English rock musician, best known for his work with the Dogs D'Amour as well as an extensive solo catalogue. As well as performing vocals, guitars and other instruments, he also illustrates the album covers in his own recognisable style. The Dogs D'amour In 1982 Tyla was serving as guitarist for the band Bordello Boys. When vocalist Ned Christie joined the band he brought with him a change of name, which was the beginning of the Dogs D'Amour. On the back of the second of two recording sessions, the Dogs D'Amour were signed to Kumibeat Records in Finland. The recording and release of ''The State We're In'' was problematic. Ned Christie left the band prior to the recording, resulting in Tyla adopting the role of both guitars and vocals. Tyla Laura Seethal (born 30 January 2002), known mononymously as Tyla, is a South African singer and songwriter. Born and raised in Johannesburg, she signed with Epic Records in 2021 following the domestic success of her 2019 debut single, "Getting Late" (featuring Kooldrink). Tyla gained international recognition after the release of her 2023 single "Water (Tyla song), Water", which entered the top ten in multiple countries including her native South Africa, the United Kingdom and the United States.
