Ty Zantuck
Ty Zantuck (born 15 February 1982) is a former Australian rules footballer. He is the son of AFL footballer Shane Zantuck and the nephew of AFL brothers Arnold Briedis and Robert Briedis. He began his career at the Richmond Football Club ("the Tigers") after being drafted in 2000. In 2002, he finished ninth in the Richmond's best & fairest. In round 21 of the 2003 season Zantuck kicked five goals. In round 18 of the 2004 season against Collingwood he booted four goals. Zantuck was delisted at the end of 2005. Following his AFL career, Zantuck played local football for Kangaroo Flat in 2007, before joining Heidelberg Football Club in Victoria's Northern Football League where he played in their 2008 premiership side. Zantuck then moved to former junior club Strathmore for the 2010 season. Ty Zantuck was diagnosed with suspected chronic traumatic encephalopathy in late 2021. Western Jets
The Western Jets is an Australian rules football club which plays in the Victorian premier U19 competition, the NAB League, since its inception in 1992. The club have developmental squads in the U16, however much of the attention is towards its U18 team. The club is geographically set in Melbourne's West as part of a decision by AFL Victoria (formerly Football Victoria) to have clubs in all regions of the state. The club trains in Melbourne's inner west at Crofts Reserve in Altona North and plays NAB League matches at Burbank Oval in Williamstown. Their current coach is Robbie Chancellor, who replaced Ryan O’Keefe at the end of the 2020 season. Strathmore Football Club
Strathmore Football Club is an Australian rules football club located 7 km north west of Melbourne in the suburb of Strathmore and was founded in 1954 as a junior club. The senior club was established in 1957. The club originally played its home games in Pascoe Vale before moving to its current home at Lebanon Reserve in Strathmore. The club won its seventh A Grade Premiership in 2011 with a win over rivals Oak Park. Strathmore came into the game underdogs after losing the semi final to Oak Park by 37 points. However, Strathmore prevailed; the final scores were Oak Park 11.13 (79) def. by Strathmore 11.15 (81). The club was awarded its ninth premiership in 2021 by the EDFL as the ladder leader when the season was curtailed due to the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic.
