Daniel Rodríguez Pérez (born 27 March 1977), known as Txiki, is a Spanish retired professional footballer who played as a left midfielder. Club career Txiki was born in San Sebastián, Gipuzkoa. He spent his first years as a senior in the lower leagues, with Utebo FC, Andorra CF, SD Beasain and Cultural y Deportiva Leonesa. On 10 October 2001, his 47th-minute free kick was the only goal of the Copa del Rey fixture against Racing de Santander, as Cultural went through to the round of 32; two months later, he signed for that adversary. On 5 January 2002, Txiki made his debut in the Segunda División, coming on as a 60th-minute substitute for Sietes in a 2–1 home win over Polideportivo Ejido. The following month, he scored in consecutive matches as his team defeated Real Jaén (2–0) then drew 2–2 at SD Eibar, being an important member of the Quique Setién-led squad as they promoted to La Liga as runners-up. Cristian Urbistondo López (born 14 August 1979), known as Txiki, is a Spanish footballer who plays as a central defender for Unión Molinense. Club career Born in Barcelona, Catalonia, Txiki spent the vast majority of his extensive senior career in the lower leagues, starting out at CE Europa in his native region. From 2009 to 2013 he competed in the Segunda División, in representation of FC Cartagena and Girona FC. Aitor "Txiki" Begiristain Mujika (born 12 August 1964) is a Spanish former professional footballer who played mainly as a left winger but also as a forward, currently director of football of English club Manchester City. He was best known for his spells at Real Sociedad and Barcelona, winning eight major titles with the latter, including four La Liga championships and the 1992 European Cup. Indalecio León Zarasqueta Uriarte (May 22, 1860 – April 1, 1900), known as Txikito de Eibar or Aizpiri txiki, was a Basque pelota player who participated in ''pala'', Hand-pelota, ''remonte'', long bat and short bat categories. Due to his physical characteristics he received the nickname of ''Txiquito'', meaning in Euskera Little. Joxe Miguel Iztueta Cortajarena (September 15, 1926 – April 3, 1993), better known as Lazkao Txiki was a Basque ''bertsolari'' poet and musician. José María "Txiki" Benegas Haddad (25 July 1948 – 25 August 2015) was a Spanish politician for the Spanish Socialist Workers' Party (PSOE). His nickname "Txiki" is Basque for "small". Early life Benegas was born in Caracas, Venezleua. His father, José María Benegas Echeverría, was an exiled Basque Nationalist politician, who fled Spain in 1939 following the victory of Francisco Franco in the Spanish Civil War. While his mother, Doris Haddad, was a Lebanese Jew who immigrated from Lebanon to Venezuela. José Tomás Larrañaga Arenas (popularly known as ''Txiki'' or ''José Txiki'') ( Azcoitia, March 7, 1926 - Azcoitia, December 31, 1984) was a Spanish politician who was assassinated by the ETA. Aitz Txiki is a peak of Biscay, Basque Country (Spain), 791 m. high. Its name means "small rock" ''aitz''=rock ''txiki''=small. Description It is the smallest peak of the Urkiola range, and forms part of the same limestone mass that forms the Anboto and the Alluitz. Although it is the smallest one, it has the same rough and wild look, especially when viewed from the ''Atxarte'' pass that separates the mountain from the neighbouring Untxillaitz. It has a double summit- the highest is Aitz Txiki and the lowest one is ''Artxua'' or ''Sorginkobetagana''.
