The Tweed Coast Raiders is an Australian rugby league club. It was formed in 1980 and currently field male and female teams in all junior grades of the Northern Rivers Regional Rugby League and Gold Coast Rugby League. The club is based at Les Burger Fields in Cabarita Beach, New South Wales. Brent Kite
Brent Kite (born 7 March 1981) is a former professional rugby league footballer who played in the 1990s, 2000s and 2010s. A Tonga and Australia international, and New South Wales State of Origin representative front-row forward, he played club football for the St. George Illawarra Dragons, Manly Warringah Sea Eagles and Penrith Panthers. Kite was named the Clive Churchill Medallist for his performance in the 2008 NRL Grand Final, in which he helped steer Manly-Warringah to a 40–0 thumping of the Melbourne Storm, scoring a try. Northern Rivers Regional Rugby League
The Northern Rivers Regional Rugby League (NRRRL) is a rugby league competition run in the far north of New South Wales, Australia. It is run under the auspices of the Country Rugby League. The league formed in 2005 as an extended Group 1 Rugby League competition, featuring teams from Group 18 Rugby League. Prior to this, teams from Group 18 played in a competition with teams from the Gold Coast region of Queensland. Both Group 1 and Group 18 continue to run junior competitions. The competitions run by NRRRL include: First grade, Reserve grade, Under-18's and Ladies League Tag. The Gold Coast Rugby League (also known as the Kevin Bycroft Cup) is a rugby league football competition based in Gold Coast, Queensland, Australia. It is under the administration of the Queensland Rugby League through the South East Queensland Division, which also administers the Brisbane and Ipswich competitions. The Gold Coast Rugby League Premiership consists of ten clubs, competing in three senior leagues; A-Grade, Reserves and Colts (under-19s). The Gold Coast Junior Rugby League was formed in 1976 and consists of seventeen clubs, competing in multiple age groups from under-7s to under-17s. Cabarita Beach, New South Wales
Cabarita Beach is a town in northeastern New South Wales which occupies a thin strip of beach-side land along the Coral Sea coast, east of Tweed Coast Road, in the Tweed Shire town of Bogangar. Locally, the names Cabarita Beach and Bogangar are interchangeable; either may be used when referring to the whole settlement, with more people using the former. Hastings Point lies close to Cabarita Beach to the south and Casuarina to the north. At the Cabarita Beach had a population of 103, Bogangar 3060. Cabarita Beach is located within the Tweed Shire Local Government Authority. The beach itself, as well as the nearby Norries Headland, are popular tourist attractions. Michael Gordon (born 24 October 1983) is an Australian former professional rugby league footballer who played in the 2000s and 2010s, he played in the National Rugby League (NRL). Gordon was a New South Wales, Origin and Country representative. He played at and and was a noted goal-kicker. The New Zealand Warriors are a professional rugby league football club based in Auckland, New Zealand that competes in the National Rugby League (NRL) premiership and is the League's only team from outside Australia. They were formed in 1995 as the Auckland Warriors, and are officially known as the One New Zealand Warriors for sponsorship reasons. The Warriors are coached by Andrew Webster and captained by Tohu Harris. The Warriors are based at Mount Smart Stadium in the Auckland suburb of Penrose.
