Tunku Alif Hussein Saifuddin Al-Amin ibni Tuanku Muhriz (3 September 1984 – 15 January 2016), was the third son of the reigning Yang di-Pertuan Besar of Negeri Sembilan, Tuanku Muhriz ibni Almarhum Tuanku Munawir. Family Tunku Alif Hussein was born on 3 September 1984 at the General Hospital, Kuala Lumpur, as third son and child of Tuanku Muhriz ibni Almarhum Tuanku Munawir (now the reigning Yang di-Pertuan Besar of Negeri Sembilan) and Tuanku Aishah Rohani. Tuanku Muhriz ibni Almarhum Tuanku Munawir (born 14 January 1948) is the eleventh Yang di-Pertuan Besar (Grand Ruler) of Negeri Sembilan, Malaysia. Early life Tunku Muhriz is the only son out of six children of the late Tuanku Munawir ibni Almarhum Tuanku Abdul Rahman, the Yang di-Pertuan Besar of Negeri Sembilan from 1960 to 1967, and of his consort, Tunku Ampuan Durah binti Almarhum Tunku Besar Burhanuddin. Sultan of Terengganu () is the title of the constitutional head of Terengganu state in Malaysia. The current Sultan Mizan Zainal Abidin of Terengganu, is the 18th sultan and 13th Yang di-Pertuan Agong of Malaysia from 2006 to 2011. He is the head of the religion of Islam in the state and the source of all titles, honours and dignities in the state. History Terengganu emerged as an independent sultanate in 1725. The first sultan was Zainal Abidin I, the younger brother of a former sultan of Johor, and Johor strongly influenced Terengganu politics through the 18th century. However, in the book ''Tuhfat al-Nafis'', the author, Raja Ali Haji, mentions that in the year 1708, Zainal Abidin I was installed as the Sultan of Terengganu by Daeng Menampuk – also known as Raja Tua – under the rule of Sultan Sulaiman Badrul Alam Shah. Muhammad Of Negeri Sembilan
Tuanku Sir Muhammad Shah ibni Almarhum Tuanku Antah (25 April 1865 – 1 August 1933) was the seventh Yamtuan Besar of Seri Menanti, who ruled from 1888 to 1933. During his reign, Negeri Sembilan came under British protection in 1889 and became a Federated Malay States, Federated Malay State in 1895. In June 1887, he was declared as ''Yam Tuan'' as recognised by British Authority. Sir Tuanku Muhammad Shah re-established the traditional constitution with the four ''Undang'' (Lawgivers) and, on 29 April 1898, he was duly elected by the four Undang as Yang-di-Pertuan Besar; the first election under the modern re-constituted Negeri Sembilan. He was installed on 7 May 1898 at Seri Menanti. After a reign of 45 years, in 1933, he died at the age of 68 years. He was buried at the Seri Menanti Royal Mausoleum at Seri Menanti. Sultan Zainal Abidin III Muadzam Shah ibni Almarhum Sultan Ahmad Muadzam Shah II, , (12 April 1866 – 26 November 1918) was Sultan and Yang di-Pertuan Besar of the state of Terengganu from 1881 to 1918. Succeeding on the death of his father Sultan Ahmad, under his reign Terengganu became a British protectorate under the Anglo-Siamese Treaty of 1909. Tunku Besar Burhanuddin ibni Almarhum Yamtuan Antah (22 September 1878 – 5 July 1961) was a member of the Negeri Sembilan royal family and once served as regent of Negeri Sembilan. His father was Yamtuan Antah ibni Yamtuan RadIn, who served as the 6th Yamtuan Besar (now known as Yang di-Pertuan Besar of Negeri Sembilan) from 1869 to 1888. Tunku Burhanuddin's elder brother, Tuanku Muhammad became the 7th Yamtuan Besar and the first to use the title Yang di-Pertuan Besar upon Yamtuan Antah's death.
