Tunisia A' National Football Team
The Tunisia A' national football team ( ar, منتخب تونس لكرة القدم للمحليين), is the local national team that has represented Tunisia in football, since it played its first match on 30 March 2008 against Libya, which ended in a 1–1 draw. It is a member team of FIFA and the Confederation of African Football (Continental) supervised by the Tunisian Football Federation, which was established on 29 March 1957, after Tunisia's independence from France on 20 March 1956. The Tunisian national team is nicknamed the Carthage Eagles. The team's colors are red and white similar to the colors of the flag. Tunisia, and its symbol is the merciful punishment. The Tunisian national football team is only open to Tunisian Ligue Professionnelle 1 players. The team won the African Nations Championship in the 2011 edition, which was held in Sudan. Saber Khalifa
Saber Khalifa ( ar, صابر خليفة; born 14 October 1986) is a Tunisian international footballer who plays for Club Africain as a winger and striker. Club career Born in Gabès, Khalifa has played in Tunisia, Libya and France for Stade Gabèsien, Espérance, Hammam-Lif, Al-Ahly. He joined French club Evian Thonon Gaillard in 2011, and in 2013 he was a finalist in the Coupe de France when his side lost 2–3 to Bordeaux. On 7 August 2013, Khalifa was linked with a move to Marseille, and he signed a four-year contract 2 days later. He stayed one season, playing 28 league matches and scoring once. Oussama Darragi (born 3 April 1987) is a Tunisian professional footballer who plays as an attacking midfielder. Club career Darragi was chosen as the best player in the Tunisian league for the year 2010. Al-Merrikh Stadium
Al-Merrikh Stadium, also known as the Red Castle, is a multi-use stadium in Omdurman, Sudan, used mostly for football matches and also sometimes for athletics. Established in 1962. The stadium is used mostly for football games and is considered the home stadium of both Al-Merrikh SC and the Sudan national team. Currently, the stadium has a capacity of 43,000.
