Tun Tun Min
Tun Tun Min ( my, ထွန်းထွန်းမင်း; born 4 October 1992) is a Burmese Lethwei fighter and former Openweight Lethwei World Champion of Mon descent. He is the youngest fighter to ever win the Lethwei Golden Belt, obtaining the title at age 21, and is notable for fighting foreign challengers from outside Myanmar. Early life Tun Tun Min was born in a remote village of Mon state and is an ethnic Mon and Muslim. The Mon are an ethnic group related to the Khmer people of Cambodia. The Mon along with other Mon-Khmer groups inhabited Indochina long before the Burmese and Tai people migrated to Indochina. He is the second eldest son of Lethwei fighter U Tun Tun Zaw and his wife Daw Aye Win. Soe Lin Oo ( my, စိုးလင်းဦး) (born December 4, 1991) is a Burmese Lethwei fighter currently competing in the Welterweight division of the World Lethwei Championship. He is the former Lethwei Golden Belt 60 kg Champion. Early life Soe Lin Oo is born in the Inn Shey village of the Thaton District, Mon State and is a member of the Karen ethnic group. Lethwei career Soe Lin Oo has often been called by the nicknames ''Man of Steel'' and ''Ironman'' due to his incredible pain threshold, which is a crucial aspect among today's Lethwei fighters. Dave Leduc (born 13 December 1991) is a Canadian Lethwei fighter who competes in the World Lethwei Championship, where he is the former WLC Cruiserweight World Champion. He is also the undefeated Openweight Lethwei World Champion under traditional rules. Leduc gained widespread notoriety by becoming the first Canadian to win in the controversial Prison Fight. In 2016, he travelled to Myanmar to achieve his dream of fighting Burmese bareknuckle boxing, considered the world's most brutal sport. Leduc challenged and defeated Tun Tun Min, who was then recognized as the best in the world and became the first non-Burmese to win a Lethwei Golden Belt. International Lethwei Federation Japan, also known as ILFJ, is a Japanese Lethwei promotion company with headquarters in Tokyo. History In 2016, the ILFJ acquired a ‘’Grade-A’’ promoter licence from the Myanmar Traditional Lethwei Federation, allowing them to organize traditional Lethwei events in Japan. ILFJ then entered into a partnership with Myanmar businessman Mr. Wunna CEO of Myanmar Media Group (MMG), the organizer of the ''Myanmar Lethwei World Championship'', to share fighters and co-organize the Lethwei events in Japan. Thuwunna Stadium
The Thuwunna Youth Training Center Stadium ( my, သုဝဏ္ဏ လူငယ် လေ့ကျင့်ရေး ကွင်း), simply known as the Thuwunna Stadium, is a multi-purpose stadium located in Yangon, Myanmar. Cyrus Washington born 28 October 1983) is an American kickboxer, Taekwondo, Muay Thai and Lethwei fighter. He is former WKA, WMF, WKBF and PK-1 Muay Thai World Champion, as well as former WBC Muaythai USA Champion, WMC and Lumpinee Stadium Title contender. In 2012, he competed in the Emmy nominated Thailand VS Challenger TV Series. Washington received worldwide attention for being one of the first successful foreigners to compete in Lethwei in Myanmar.
