"Tu canción" () is a song performed by Spanish singers Amaia Romero and Alfred García, and written by Raúl Gómez and Sylvia Santoro. The performing duo is identified and credited as Amaia y Alfred. The song was released as a digital download on 28 January 2018 through Universal Music Spain. It represented Spain in the Eurovision Song Contest 2018 in Lisbon, Portugal. It finished in twenty-third place. An English-language version, "Your Song", was released as a digital download on 27 April 2018. The lyrics were adapted into English by Paula Rojo. Amaia Romero
Amaia Romero Arbizu (born 3 January 1999), better known as Amaia, is a Spanish singer-songwriter and pianist. After participating in many talent shows, she gained national recognition after winning series nine of musical television contest ''Operación Triunfo'', later representing Spain alongside fellow competitor Alfred García at the 2018 Eurovision Song Contest with "Tu Canción". Romero later signed with Universal Music and released her debut album ''Pero No Pasa Nada'' in 2019. Early life Romero was born on 3 January 1999 in Pamplona, Navarre. Daughter to Ángel Romero and Javiera Arbizu, Amaia belongs to a family of musicians. Divinity is a private Spanish television channel owned by Mediaset España, whose programming is aimed to target women. Divinity began test broadcasts on 1 March 2011 before fully launching on 1 April 2011. LaNueve project With the expansion of the number of channels in 2010, before the merger of Telecinco and Cuatro, Telecinco was considering launching a free channel dedicated to women.
