Tsunekazu Ishihara
(born 27 November 1957) is a Japanese video game designer, director, producer and businessman who is the president of The Pokémon Company. Prior to working with the Pokémon series, Ishihara was part of Ape Inc. and worked on titles such as ''EarthBound'', and then years later he founded Creatures Inc. Ishihara's work with Pokémon, in which he was involved since early development stages during the 1990s had him as a producer from Creatures while he also heavily focused on licensed and spin-off products such as the Pokémon Trading Card Game, with him founding The Pokémon Company to handle such business activities. He was also crucial in the development of ''Pokémon Go'', having supported the concept of a location-based Pokémon game. The Monopoly Game 2
is a 1995 video game for the Super Famicom, developed by Tomcat System, and jointly published by Tomy and Ape. It was not released outside of Japan. This game is the sequel to a 1993 Super Famicom game called ''Monopoly'', which was published by Tomy and developed by Ape and CreamSoft (not to be confused with the 1991 ''Monopoly'' game by Sculptured Software). It was likewise Japan only. Aside from co-developing the game, Ape also wrote a complete guidebook to it with rules and tactics. ''Mario's Picross'' is a 1995 puzzle video game for the Game Boy. Developed by Jupiter (company), Jupiter and Creatures (company), Ape and published by Nintendo, it is a compilation of nonogram logic puzzles. The game stars Mario who chisels away at puzzle grids to form pictures. The game initially received positive reviews, with reviewers citing its length and addictive nature as a positive, but its grid sizes and absence of typical Mario elements as a negative. Although the game sold well in Japan, the game flopped in English-speaking regions. As a result of this, the game was followed by two sequels, ''Mario's Super Picross'' and ''Picross 2'', released only in Japan.
