Troy is a city in Bell County, Texas, United States. The population was 2,375 at the 2020 census. It is part of the Killeen–Temple–Fort Hood Metropolitan Statistical Area. Geography Troy is located in northern Bell County at (31.202907, –97.301719), along Interstate 35. It is north of Temple and south of Waco. Climate The climate in this area is characterized by hot, humid summers and generally mild to cool winters.
