Element Lad (Jan Arrah) is a fictional character in the 30th and 31st centuries of the , a member of the Legion of Super-Heroes. A native of the planet Trom, he has the power to transmute chemical elements. Publication history Element Lad first appeared in ''Adventure Comics'' #307 and was created by Edmond Hamilton and John Forte. Fictional character biography Pre-''Zero Hour'' Element Lad first appears in ''Adventure Comics'' (vol. 1) #307 (1963). In this first story he is briefly known as "Mystery Lad" as the Legionnaires try to guess his superpower. Jan is the last survivor of Trom; with all of the planet's natives sharing Jan's abilities, the other Trommites had been massacred by the space pirate Roxxas for refusing to transmute valuable elements for him. Daxam is a fictional planet within the DC Universe. It is home to a race called the Daxamites, who are descended from Kryptonian colonists. History In canonical continuity, Daxamites are descendants of a group of Kryptonians who had left Krypton in order to explore the Universe. ''Legion Lost'' is the name of two superhero titles published by DC Comics, both starring the Legion of Super-Heroes. Starfinger is a DC Comics supervillain appearing in media published by DC Comics, primarily as an enemy of the Legion of Super-Heroes. He first appeared in ''Adventure Comics'' #335 (August 1965), and was created by Edmond Hamilton and John Forte. Fictional character biography Lars Hanscom Starfinger was a helmeted figure with five different powers generated by each finger of his right hand. The Legion discovers that Starfinger is actually Lightning Lad, controlled by Dr. Lars Hanscom. In serial fiction, the term "reboot" signifies a new start to an established fictional universe, work, or series. A reboot discards continuity to re-create its characters, plotlines and backstory from the beginning.
