Trolls Of Troy
Trolls of Troy is a French comic series published by Soleil Productions. It is a spin-off series of ''Lanfeust of Troy'' and is created by author Scotch Arleston and writer Jean-Louis Mourier. Since 1997, 24 volumes have been published in French. The series is also translated in Polish, Dutch, German and Spanish. In 2013, it was adapted into an animated series. Synopsis Troy is a world populated by humans, trolls and other creatures and filled with magic. The trolls are physically strong, and viewed by humans as wild animals, but they are civilized from their own point of view. ''Trolls of Troy'' is set two centuries before the story of Lanfeust. It tells the story of Teträm, a brave troll, and his adopted human daughter, Waha. Men have decided to exterminate the trolls, and have formed a group of hunters with terrible powers. Soleil Productions
Soleil Productions is a French publisher of both original and imported comic books. History Soleil was founded in 1989 in Toulouse. Soleil quickly became known as a publisher of cartoons and parodies such as Rahan, Blek le Roc et Tarzan. It soon went into the heroic fantasy. In the 1994, it picked up and published the ''Lanfeust'' comic series. ''Lanfeust'' became a rapid and huge success and propelled the Toulouse publishing house to the rank of the largest French comic book publishers. Lanfeust Of Troy
''Lanfeust of Troy'' is a long-running French language comic series written by Christophe Arleston, drawn by Didier Tarquin, and published by Soleil Productions. Synopsis On the world of Troy, most humans have a single magic power. Each power is unique to the person and includes such diverse feats as walking on water, personal teleportation, and causing thirst in others. However, none can use their power unless in the close or remote presence of a sage of Eckmül, Troy's version of a studied magician. Lanfeust is an orphan and an apprentice blacksmith who can heat metal at will. His adventure begins when he is asked to mend the sword of a passing aristocrat. Christophe Arleston
Christophe Arleston (born Christophe Pelinq, 14 August 1963) is a French comics writer and editor. He has also worked as Scotch Arleston. Biography In his early childhood, Christophe Arleston lived in Madagascar, Macon and Paris before returning to Aix-en-Provence. He studied journalism at Marseille. He started his career by working as a journalist and later in communications. He started writing radio drama for France Inter. In 1992 he started writing comic books for Soleil Productions. In 1994 he published Lanfeust of Troy. In 1998 he created Lanfeust Mag, a monthly comic strip. Since 2021, he is the head of Drakoo Editions, a fantasy comics publishing house. In 2010, he was the bestselling comics author in France, with 1.5 million albums sold that year. Between 1980 and 2023, he was estimated to have sold 15 million albums. Traditional animation (or classical animation, cel animation, or hand-drawn animation) is an animation technique in which each frame is drawn by hand. The technique was the dominant form of animation in cinema until computer animation. Canal+ Family was a French TV channel devoted to the broadcast of family programming. It is part of the "Les Chaînes Canal+" and the "Famille" package from Canal+.
