Futurikon is a French independent production company created in 1996 by Philippe Delarue, the company’s CEO and Producer, and based in Paris. It specializes in the production and international sales of animated programs, feature films and documentaries. Futurikon acts as both executive producer and line producer of the programs it develops, and is open to co-producing content with other partners. Most famous for the feature film '' Minuscule: Valley of the Lost Ants'', Futurikon has been involved in several other animations. Minuscule (TV Series)
''Minuscule'' is a French TV series, produced by Futurikon and created by Hélène Giraud and Thomas Szabo. The TV series comes in the form of short segments – focusing mostly on a variety of insects – where their mundane, everyday lives take on a humorous turn. Superimposing stylized characters over real-life scenery (of rural France), the main characters' comical scenarios come in the form of silent comedy. Aside from the main characters, animals and humans may also show up in minor roles, but the show does not utilize any proper spoken dialogue. The series had been compared to popular media by the staff themselves. These include the film '' Microcosmos'', nature-related documentaries from National Geographic, as well as cartoons by Tex Avery and cartoons produced for the Warner Brothers. Dragon Hunters (film)
''Dragon Hunters'' ( French: ''Chasseurs de dragons'') is a 2008 French-German-Luxembourgish 3D computer-animated fantasy film telling the adventures of two dragon hunters, written by Frédéric Engel-Lenoir, directed by creator Arthur Qwak and Guillaume Ivernel with music by Klaus Badelt and produced by Philippe Delarue and Tilo Seiffert. It features the voices of Vincent Lindon, Patrick Timsit, Marie Drion in the French version and Forest Whitaker, Rob Paulsen and Mary Mouser in the English version. The film was produced by Futurikon, and co-produced by LuxAnimation, Mac Guff Ligne and Trixter. It shares the same creative universe as the ''Dragon Hunters'' TV series.
