Troll I Ord
Troll i ord (Watch What You Say) is a Norwegian comedy film from 1954. The film was directed by Jon Lennart Mjøen and Olav Engebretsen. The action in the film takes place at a hotel in the high mountains just before Easter. The main roles are played by the Norwegian actors Henki Kolstad, Inger Marie Andersen, and Guri Stormoen and the Danish actors Ib Schønberg and Jytte Ibsen. The alpinist Marius Eriksen Jr. plays a ski trainer, and the Marius sweater was featured in the film. ''Troll i ord'' also contains several song numbers, including the hit "Vinter i eventyrland" (Winter in Wonderland) with The Monn Keys. The outdoor scenes were filmed at Skeikampen in the municipality of Gausdal. Jon Lennart Mjøen
Jon Lennart Mjøen (22 October 1912 – 3 January 1997) was a Norwegian actor, film director and screenwriter. He appeared in twelve films between 1936 and 1968. His film ''Stevnemøte med glemte år'' was entered into the 7th Berlin International Film Festival. Mjøen was primarily a stage actor and debuted at the Søilen Theater in 1933. He was employed at the New Theater from 1936 to 1937, then at the Trøndelag Theater until 1938, then the Centralteatret until 1959 (except some of the war years) and at the Oslo Nye Teater until 1967. Marius sweaters ( no, Mariusgenser) are Norwegian-style knitted sweaters with patterns inspired by traditional Setesdal sweater ( no, Setesdalsgenser), but without lice, a type of pattern. While the traditional sweaters used the natural colors of sheep wool - black, gray, brown and white - Marius sweater designs incorporated colors, with the most common being red, white and blue, the colors of the Norwegian flag. Origin The origin of the sweater has been subject to dispute in media. Designer said she designed the pattern in 1953, influenced by traditional Norwegian knitting patterns found in the 1929 book ''Norske Strikkemønstre'' (Norwegian knitting patterns) by Annichen Sibbern. Sølvi Wang
Sølvi Valborg Wang (28 August 1929 – 31 May 2011) was a Norwegian singer, actress and comedian. She was born in Bærum, Akershus, to the jazz musician Yngvar Wang and the singer Marie Gulbrandsen. Already at an early age she sang with her father's orchestra on the radio and in concert. She met Egil Monn-Iversen while in school, and in 1948 she founded the music group The Monn Keys together with him. Wang debuted as a recording artist in 1950, in a duet with Arve Opsahl. Later she recorded solo albums, and was responsible for 18 releases in the years up until 1955. She combined her solo career with performances with The Monn Keys, which now also included the singers Nora Brockstedt and Per Asplin. Nora Brockstedt (20 January 1923 – 5 November 2015) was a Norwegian singer. In her last years, she focused more on the jazz genre, with successful albums like ''As Time Goes By'' (JazzAvdelingen, 2004) and ''Christmas Songs'' (JazzAvdelingen, 2005). Per Asplin (10 August 1928, in Tønsberg – 9 October 1996, in Oslo) was a Norwegian pianist, singer, composer and actor. He co-starred in a handful of films as well as participating in Melodi Grand Prix five times in the 1960s. Skeikampen
Skeikampen is a mountain located in Gausdal Municipality in Innlandet county, Norway. The tall mountain is located about to the northwest of the village of Svingvoll. The area is heavily dependent on recreation which is dominated by the Skeikampen Alpine Centre plus hundreds of holiday cottages. Attractions The Skeikampen Alpine Centre is located on the montain and it offers both ski lifts and pistes. The first cross-country tourists arrived in 1895 and the first ski lift was built in 1959. The centre is now one of Norway's largest skiing facilities. The area also has an 18-hole golf course.
