Trocadero (band)
Trocadero is an experimental rock band formed in Cambridge, Massachusetts in 1997. The band's current lineup consists of Nico Audy-Rowland, Brandon Erdos, Violet Heart, and Martha Marin. Trocadero got its name after a subway stop in Paris. The band is best known for their contribution to the soundtrack of the web-series ''Red vs. Blue''. Nico Audy-Rowland had discovered the show in 2003 and sent the creators a song, "''Blood Gulch Blues''", which would end up becoming the show's opening theme. The band's debut album, '' Roses Are Red, Violets Are Blue'', was released on 01 September 2004. Their latest album, the soundtrack to Season 17 of ''Red vs. Blue'', was released in 2019. Nico Audy-Rowland was also involved in the Uggos, a collaboration with Jeff Williams that created the music for ''The Strangerhood'', another Rooster Teeth series. RTX is a series of annual gaming and Internet conventions created by Rooster Teeth held in Austin, Texas and for a period of time also Sydney and London, England. Starting as a small community gathering of 600 people in 2011, RTX significantly expanded in its following years, housing an estimated 62,000 people in 2017. RTX has gained attention for its "celebration of that convergence of gaming and Internet culture." In 2016, Tech Crunch described it as " SXSW meets Comic Con." The Strangerhood
''The Strangerhood'' is a comedy series created by Rooster Teeth Productions. The series is produced primarily by using the machinima technique of synchronizing video footage from video game to pre-recorded dialogue and other audio. The animation is created using the video game ''The Sims 2'' as a parody of sitcoms and reality television. The series details the lives of eight "assorted stereotypes" who wake up living in a neighborhood called Strangerhood Lane, with no memory of who they are, where they are, or how they got there.
