Triumph Triple
The Triumph Triples are a family of modern DOHC straight-3, inline three-cylinder motorcycle engines made from 1990 onwards by the Triumph Motorcycles Ltd, Triumph Motorcycle Company at their Hinckley, Leicestershire factory. The inspiration for the later triples was the pushrod BSA Rocket 3/Triumph Trident, Triumph Trident, produced from 1968 to 1974 at the Triumph Engineering, Triumph factory at Meriden Works. The Triumph Triple motorcycle engine has been used in the Triumph Trident, Trident, Thunderbird, Adventurer, Legend, Tiger, Speed Triple, Triumph Sprint ST, Sprint ST & RS, Sprint Executive, Trophy, Street Triple, and Daytona models. Triumph Sprint 900
The Triumph Sprint 900 is a sport touring motorcycle manufactured by Triumph from 1991 to 1998 at their factory in Hinckley, Leicestershire. Styled by Rod Skiver, the Sprint was powered by an liquid-cooled, inline-three four stroke engine. The engine was a similar triple to that in the Triumph Trident 900 and many of the cycle parts were interchangeable with the Trident. Triumph Daytona 675
Introduced in 2006, the Triumph Daytona 675 is a three-cylinder sport bike, and the smallest of the Triumph triples. Built by Triumph Motorcycles, it replaced their four-cylinder Daytona 650. The 675 proved to be remarkably light, nimble and powerful; at a maximum of 128 bhp it was also very quick, and it was very successful against the Japanese 600 cc competition. In 2016, Triumph ceased production of the base model Daytona 675 citing diminishing demand for super sport bikes and increasingly strict European emission standards. Triumph continued to produce the up-spec Triumph Daytona 675R model until the 2018 model year. At it had the largest-displacement engine of any production motorcycle until the release of the Triumph Rocket 3. The name "Rocket III" is derived from the 1968 BSA 750cc pushrod triple, the Rocket 3, which was a badge-engineered version of the original "Triumph Trident." Triumph Tiger 1050
The Triumph Tiger 1050 is a continuation of the Triumph Tiger motorcycle model line from the Triumph Tiger 955i produced in Hinckley, England by Triumph Motorcycles. The model name is derived from Triumph's long history of sporting motorcycles of both single and twin cylinder design and of previous capacities from 350 cc to 750 cc. This model has a three-cylinder engine derived from the previous dual purpose Tiger. The Tiger 1050 shifts more towards the sport/street-oriented use from previous models. Triumph Trophy
The Triumph Trophy is a touring motorcycle produced by Triumph Motorcycles Ltd from 2012 to 2017. The motorcycle features a liquid-cooled, 12-valve, straight-three engine, which is mated to a six-speed gearbox and shaft drive. The engine is also used on its dual-sport sibling, the Tiger Explorer, although on the Trophy it produces slightly less power and has a taller sixth gear, more suitable for the touring proposal of this motorcycle. The base model will be complemented by the SE, which features extra equipment such as electronically adjustable suspension, a Bluetooth audio system, and a tyre-pressure monitoring system. The Triumph Tiger 955i (T709EN) is a dual-sport motorcycle that was produced by Triumph Motorcycles between 2001 and 2006. It was the successor of the visually similar 885 cc Tiger T709 (1999–2000) which was also fuel injected but with a different engine, 885 instead of 955. The Triumph Speed Triple is a series of motorcycles produced by Triumph Motorcycles. The 1994 Hinckley Triumph was one of the first motorcycles produced in the streetfighter style (a modern sport bike or race replica motorcycle without an aerodynamic plastic fairing). In the study of heat transfer, fins are surfaces that extend from an object to increase the rate of heat transfer to or from the environment by increasing convection. The amount of conduction, convection, or radiation of an object determines the amount of heat it transfers.
