Triston Henry
Triston Javon Henry (born September 8, 1993) is a Canadian professional Association football, soccer player who plays for Forge FC in the Canadian Premier League as a Goalkeeper (association football), goalkeeper. Early life In 2013, he played with the Toronto Lynx U20 in the USL Super-20 League, winning the Safe Hands Award and being named to the All-Tournament team. College career Henry began his college career at Herkimer County Community College in 2012. In his two seasons, he helped the team win the NJCAA National Championship both seasons, including posting clean sheets in both championship matches. In 2012, he was the 2012 Regional Tournament MVP, an NSCAA Second Team All-American, NSCAA All-Region First Team, and was also named to the All-National Tournament First Team. Forge FC
Forge FC is a Canadian professional soccer club based in Hamilton, Ontario, that competes in the Canadian Premier League, the top tier of Canadian soccer. The club plays its home matches at Tim Hortons Field. Forge FC joined the CPL in 2019 as one of the league's seven inaugural teams. The club won the first two championships of the Canadian Premier League, winning back-to-back league titles in 2019 and 2020 before winning a third title in 2022. 2016 League1 Ontario Season
The 2016 Men's League1 Ontario season was the third season of play for League1 Ontario, a Division 3 semi-professional soccer league in the Canadian soccer pyramid and the highest level of soccer based in the Canadian province of Ontario. This season saw the return of all but one of the teams which completed the previous season, as well as the addition of five new teams for the men's division. Changes from 2015 Five new teams joined the men's division for this season. Aurora United FC, North Mississauga SC, North Toronto Nitros, Toronto Skillz FC added new entries, while FC London moved over from the Premier Development League. The 2015 Men's League1 Ontario season was the second season of play for League1 Ontario, a Division 3 semi-professional soccer league in the Canadian soccer pyramid and the highest level of soccer based in the Canadian province of Ontario. This season saw the return of all nine teams which completed the previous season, as well as the addition of three new teams for the Men's Division. The 2015 season also marked the birth of League1 Ontario's Women's Division, which began play with seven teams. Changes from 2014 Three new teams ( Oakville Blue Devils, ProStars FC, and Sanjaxx Lions) joined the Men's Division for this season, resulting in a twelve-team competition for that side. Haralambos "Bobby" Smyrniotis (born April 24, 1979) is a Canadian soccer coach and former player who works as head coach of Forge FC of the Canadian Premier League. Smyrniotis is the co-founder of the Sigma FC soccer academy based in Mississauga. Playing career Smyrniotis played for the College of Charleston and York University. Coaching career Early career In 2003 and 2004, Smyrniotis was a coach in the academy system of Olympiacos. He co-founded Sigma FC, and was the team's head coach from 2005 to 2018. Forge FC 2019 season On October 1, 2018, Smyrniotis was announced as the first head coach and technical director of Canadian Premier League club Forge FC.
