Trippin' (Total Song)
"Trippin'" is a song by American R&B girl group Total, released as the first single from their second studio album ''Kima, Keisha, and Pam'' (1998). It was also their second release working with production/writing duo Missy Elliott & Timbaland, after ''What About Us?'', although Timbaland this time provided only co-production and instrumentation, with the pair's longtime collaborator Darryl Pearson instead handling main production with Elliott. Elliott was also often given a "featuring" credit (likely to create increased publicity for the track) despite only providing background vocals and spoken word to the song. The track was by far the group's biggest hit, peaking at number seven on the U.S. ''Billboard'' Hot 100 and number three on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart. The song was released with the ''Puff Daddy, Harve Pierre & Mario Winans Remix'' as the main version with regard to the single's cover and track listings. This remix featured a re-arranged version of the original ly ...

Trippin' (That's The Way Love Works)
"Trippin' (That's the Way Love Works)" is a song by American recording artist Toni Braxton. It was written by Braxton, Johntá Austin, Bryan-Michael Cox and Kendrick "WyldCard" Dean for her fifth studio album, ''Libra'' (2005), while production was overseen by Cox, with co-production from Keri Lewis and additional production by Dean. Selected as the album's second single, the piano-heavy R&b ballad was released to US radios on September 26, 2005, followed by a European release in fall 2005. Commercially, it missed the US ''Billboard'' Hot 100 and charted outside the top sixty of the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs. Critical reception ''Billboard''s Chuck Taylor found that "Trippin' (That's the Way Love Works)" seems "like a track designed for Ciara, Ashanti or some other minor talent. It is not displeasing, but Braxton comes across as more of a response singer to the chorus of background singers ..This one just doesn't measure up." Awake (Godsmack Album)
''Awake'' is the second studio album by American rock band Godsmack, released on October 31, 2000. It features the song "Goin' Down", which first appeared on the band's first studio recording, '' All Wound Up''. This was the only Godsmack album to feature drummer Tommy Stewart. During the 2000s, the songs "Sick of Life" and "Awake" were used for the United States Navy's "Accelerate Your Life" recruiting advertisements. Recording The band opted to convert a warehouse in Haverhill, Massachusetts into a makeshift studio, rather than use a more traditional studio setting. According to Sully Erna, the band just did not want to move into any luxurious studio, because they wanted to keep the edge on for writing and "not get too far away from what we're all about". So they just stayed in the slums rather than moving into luxury. Erna says the results show in the music's "tougher" sound; "however, it has a very raw edge to it. It's not very polished," he says. "But it still has a lot o ...
