''Jungle Rules'' is the second studio album by Moroccan-American rapper French Montana. It was released on July 14, 2017 by Coke Boys Records, Coke Boys, Bad Boy Records, Bad Boy and Epic Records. The album succeeds his mixtape ''MC4 (mixtape), MC4'' (2016), which was originally intended to be his second studio album. It features guest appearances from Future (rapper), Future, Travis Scott, The Weeknd, Young Thug, Pharrell Williams, Quavo, T.I., Swae Lee, Marc E. Bassy, Chinx and Max B, among others. Production derives from frequent collaborator Harry Fraud, as well as Scott Storch, Detail (record producer), Detail, London on da Track, Mike Will Made It and others. French Montana
Karim Kharbouch (Arabic: æɾiːm χɑɾbuːʃ born November 9, 1984), better known by his stage name French Montana, is a Moroccan-American rapper. Born and raised in Morocco, he emigrated to the United States with his family when he was 13. He is the founder of Coke Boys Records and its predecessor Cocaine City Records. After years of independent material, he signed a joint-venture record deal with Puff Daddy's Bad Boy Records and Rick Ross's Maybach Music Group in 2012. It was released on November 5, 2016, by Coke Boys Records, Bad Boy Records, Maybach Music Group and Epic Records. However, the album's release was canceled after Target unofficially released the album on CD on its original release date of August 19, 2016, two months before the album was set to release, which was later leaked online in its entirety. Subsequently, the album was heavily bootlegged. It was French Montana's last project released by Maybach Music Group before leaving the label. MC4 is the fourth installment in the ''Mac & Cheese'' series, and was intended to be the first of the series to be released as an album.
