Triin Narva
Triin Narva (born November 12, 1994) is an Estonian chess player who holds the title of Woman FIDE Master (2016). Biography Narva was born into a chess playing family. She is the granddaughter of Estonian chess champion Boris Rõtov and Woman International Correspondence Chess Grandmaster Merike Rõtova. Her father Jaan Narva is FIDE master, while both her mother Regina Narva and her sister Mai Narva have won the Estonian Women's Chess Championship. Chess career From 2004 to 2011, Narva won twelve Estonian Junior Chess Championships in different age groups (U10, U12, U14, U16, U18). From 2003 to 2012 she participated in the European Junior Chess Championships and the World Junior Chess Championships in different age groups. Her best result was a 3rd place at the European Junior Chess Blitz Championship in the group under 18 years (2012). 39th Chess Olympiad
The 39th Chess Olympiad (russian: 39-я Шахматная олимпиада, ''39-ya Shakhmatnaya olimpiada''), organised by FIDE and comprising an open and a women's tournament, as well as several other events designed to promote the game of chess, took place from September 19 to October 4, 2010 in Khanty-Mansiysk, Russia. There were 148 teams in the open event and 115 in the women's event. In total, 1306 players were registered. This was the fourth time Russia organized the Chess Olympiad after 12th Chess Olympiad, 1956 (Soviet Union), 31st Chess Olympiad, 1994, and 33rd Chess Olympiad, 1998. Six cities had submitted bids to organize the Olympiad: Khanty-Mansiysk, Budva, Buenos Aires, Poznań, Riga, and Tallinn. Sjakkolympiade), organised by the FIDE, Fédération Internationale des Échecs (FIDE) and comprising an open and women's tournament, as well as several events designed to promote the game of chess, took place in Tromsø, Norway, between 1–14 August 2014.
