Transport And Logistics Bureau
Transport and Logistics Bureau () is one of the fifteen policy bureaux for the Government of Hong Kong, Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government. It is responsible for the transport and logistics policy portfolios. The agency was established on 1 July 2022, when the housing portfolios of the former Transport and Housing Bureau was spun off to form the Housing Bureau. The current (since 1 July 2022) Secretary for Transport and Logistics is Lam Sai-hung. This bureau was newly established under the re-organization of policy bureaux proposed by Carrie Lam, the fifth Chief Executive of Hong Kong, and was adopted by John Lee (government official), John Lee, the succeeding Chief Executive after Carrie Lam. Financial Secretary (Hong Kong)
The Financial Secretary () is the title held by the Hong Kong government minister who is responsible for all economic and financial matters (“Department of Finance” per Article 60 of the Basic Law). The position is among the three most senior Principal Officials of the Government, second only to the Chief Secretary in the order of precedence (but not subordinate to the CS). Together with other secretaries, the Financial Secretary is accountable to the Legislative Council and the Chief Executive (the Governor before the 1997 transfer of sovereignty) for his actions in supervising the formulation and implementation of financial and economic policies. The Transport and Housing Bureau (THB) was an agency of the Government of Hong Kong between 2007 and 2022, responsible for a range of policies such as the internal and external transportation, including air transport, land transport, maritime transport, logistics and housing development in Hong Kong. The bureau was headed by the Secretary for Transport and Housing (STH). The bureau was formed on 1 July 2007 to take over the transport portfolios previously under the purview of the Environment, Transport and Works Bureau, and the public housing portfolios of the Housing, Planning and Lands Bureau. Carrie Lam Cheng Yuet-ngor ( Cheng; ; born 13 May 1957) is a retired Hong Kong politician who served as the 4th Chief Executive of Hong Kong from 2017 to 2022. The Civil Aviation Department (CAD) is the civil aviation authority of Hong Kong, headquartered at Hong Kong International Airport.
