Tranquility is an unincorporated community in Adams County, in the U.S. state of Ohio. History Tranquility had its start in the 1830s when a country store opened there. ''13 Reasons Why'' is an American teen drama television series developed for Netflix by Brian Yorkey and based on the 2007 novel ''Thirteen Reasons Why'' by author Jay Asher. Adams County is a county in the U.S. state of Ohio. As of the 2020 census, the population was 27,477. Its county seat is West Union. The county is named after John Adams, the second President of the United States. Geography According to the U.S. Census Bureau, the county has an area of , of which is land and (0.4%) is water.
