Toyota Verso
The Toyota Verso is a car produced by the Japanese carmaker Toyota between 2009 and 2018. A compact MPV, it served as the direct successor to the Corolla Verso and was available in five- or seven-seat configurations. It was also positioned above the Verso-S/Space Verso in Toyota's European catalogue. The "Verso" name is taken from the English word "versatility". Overview The Verso was revealed at the 2009 Geneva Motor Show in March 2009. The Verso was marketed in Europe, Morocco, South Africa, China and Israel. It was not marketed in Japan, and not marketed in North America where the similar Matrix was offered instead. In South Africa, the only available diesel engine for the Verso range in South Africa is the 2.0L D-4D. The facelifted Verso was revealed at the 2012 Paris Motor Show, alongside the E180 Auris. Citroën Berlingo
The Citroën Berlingo and Peugeot Partner are a range of multi-purpose vehicles produced by the PSA Group and later by Stellantis. They are sold both as panel vans for use as commercial vehicles and as a passenger variant with rear seats and windows. The third generation is also sold as the Opel/Vauxhall Motors, Vauxhall Combo, as the Toyota ProAce City from 2019 and as the Fiat Doblò from 2022. The is a compact car derived from the Corolla, manufactured and sold by Toyota. Introduced in 2006, the first generation three/five-door hatchback shared the platform with the E150 series Corolla, while the second generation five-door hatchback and station wagon called "Touring Sports" uses the E180 platform. Compact MPV (an abbreviation for Compact Multi-Purpose Vehicle) is a vehicle size class for the middle size of MPVs. The Compact MPV size class sits between the mini MPV and large MPV (minivan) size classes. Compact MPVs remain predominantly a European phenomenon, although they are also built and sold in many Latin American and Asian markets. As of 2016, the only compact MPV sold widely in the United States was the Ford C-Max. Characteristics The flexibility of the interior seating is a common theme amongst compact MPVs.
