Toxic Twins
The Toxic Twins is a nickname given to lead singer Steven Tyler and lead guitarist Joe Perry of American hard rock band Aerosmith. They were given that name in the 1970s due to their rampant use of drugs both on and off stage. Despite maintaining sobriety for most of the past 30 years, Tyler and Perry have continued to be known as the Toxic Twins. Their camaraderie can be viewed in several of the band's videos, including ''The Making of Pump'', '' Big Ones You Can Look At'', and '' You Gotta Move''. Joseph Michael Kramer (born June 21, 1950) is an American musician best known as the drummer of the hard rock band Aerosmith, which was inducted to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2001. Life and career Kramer was born in the Bronx, New York City, the son of Doris and Mickey Kramer, a businessman. He is known for his work with John Lennon and Yoko Ono, Patti Smith, Cheap Trick, and the New York Dolls, among other rock artists in the 1970s and 1980s; notably he produced three successful albums for Aerosmith.
